Glengoyne Whisky has become the official whisky advertiser at Glasgow Airport International Arrivals.
Passengers at International Arrivals will be greeted initially by a wall-sized light box image of the award winning Glengoyne collection, a wall-sized image of Glengoyne distillery, and a full length shot of distillery manager, Robbie Hughes, among the whisky barrels.
It’s estimated that nearly 2 million passengers will see the adverts over the next year. With Glengoyne distillery just 30 minutes from the airport, it’s within easy reach of the city.
Commenting on the new campaign, marketing director Iain Weir said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Glasgow Airport. Being close to the distillery, it really makes sense for us. Glengoyne is the first advertiser you’ll see arriving off an international flight – few things are more welcoming than a dram!”
The agreement is spread over 12 months with JCDecaux, the world’s largest outdoor advertising corporation. This marks the first major advert agreement between Glengoyne and Glasgow Airport.
