Edinburgh: Isle of Skye 8 Years Old Blended
Scotch Whisky is building momentum behind its on-going partnership with
Scottish Racing, by increasing its presence at Musselburgh in the
run-up to race days during the festive season and beyond.
the official whisky sponsor of Scottish Racing, Isle of Skye is giving
certain lucky race-goers attending the Christmas and New Year events at
Musselburgh an extra incentive, offering a £1 retail discount voucher
for Isle of Skye. This offer will also run through to Burn's Night at
the end of January.
In addition, visitors will have the chance to win a special VIP experience at Musselburgh Race Course on 16th February, including a three course lunch in The Bistro, with overnight
stay at the luxury four-star Apex Hotel, Waterloo Place in Edinburgh's
city centre. The lucky winner will also receive a limited edition, hand
numbered, porcelain decanter of 21 Year Old Isle of Skye Blended Scotch
Whisky worth over £200.

into the Christmas spirit, Isle of Skye has created three special
cocktails to be served throughout the festive calendar at Musselburgh
including the new 'Scotch Horse's Neck', a refreshing mix of Isle of
Skye 8 Years Old, lemon juice and ginger ale, as well as a Scotch twist
on a traditional Tom Collins. The 'Merry Christmas', mixes Ian Macleod's
award-winning London Hill Gin with cranberry juice, served over ice and
garnished with dried cranberries.
Isle of Skye will also build on
its 2010 programme of race sponsorship, with the Isle of Skye Blended
Scotch Whisky Handicap, running on New Year's Day and another race on
January 14th at Musselburgh. Isle of Skye will also provide the prizes for Channel 4's Derek Thompson's "loosing betting slipâ? competitions.
