Broxburn, 20 February 2008;
GIan Macleod Distillers has re-packaged its gold award winning London Hill Gin.
The new label design, developed by Edinburgh based Graphic Partners, updates the traditional London Hill Gin packaging, to create a more stylish, contemporary brand with greater shelf presence and premium.
A refreshed design which creates a cleaner, modern finish, is reinforced with the introduction of new black and metallic silver labelling with fine gold touches, adding further value to the brand.
Like other leading premium gin brands, the new design also favours the trend for smaller label shapes with less wording - 'less is more'. This decision ensures that the labelling distils and identifies key elements and USPs of London Hill Gin, making it more accessible to the consumer. Highlighted aspects include its since 1785 heritage, its premium status and unique recipe of herbs and spices. The introduction of a small line illustration of juniper berries further emphasises the classic quality of the gin.
The labelling also gives greater prominence to the award-winning legacy of London Hill Gin, which includes three gold medals at the prestigious annual International Wine & Spirit competition.
Iain Weir, Marketing Director of Ian Macleod Distillers commented: "London Hill Gin is an award-winning brand which already surpasses the market leaders in terms of quality and taste. The re-package is a more accurate reflection of the gin's superior quality, flavour and excellent value, which will ensure greater shelf standout and consumer appeal."
