15th May 2004

* Ian Macleod Distillers launch
Glengoyne's newly designed website,

* The site was built as part of Ian
Macleod's latest marketing campaign to develop its Glengoyne Single Malt brand
in the UK and position Glengoyne as THE REAL TASTE OF MALT - 'The Authentic
taste of Malt Whisky untainted by Peat Smoke'

* Ian Macleod's campaign aims to
place Glengoyne in a class of its own, at the opposite end of the whisky
spectrum from the rugged highland malts and heavily peated Islays.

* All brand communications now
reflect the peat-smoke free element of Glengoyne and capitalise on its unique,
crafted production and the malt's smooth, pure taste. This is reflected with
the traditional and light and airy theme of the website.

* The site features a contemporary
look, with all-new graphics and copy. It is highly consumer orientated and
contains a vast wealth of information including the history of Glengoyne, its
people, its award success and its unique method of whisky making.

* Iain Weir, Head of Marketing at
Ian Macleod Distillers Ltd, said: "The website was built to emphasise the
one true element that differentiates Glengoyne single malt whisky from its
competitors - its taste. The new site contains a host of features that should
appeal to a wide range of users including the history of the product, a virtual
tour of the distillery, distillery - corporate entertainment and a link to our
brand new on-line shop for all Glengoyne products, including personalised
