Ian Macleod Distillers Look East - Tfwa Asia Pacific 2009

16 March 2009, Broxburn;  Building on the success of its inaugural visit to Singapore last year, independent distillers, Ian Macleod Distillers Ltd, will once again be heading East to TFWA Asia Pacific in May (12-14), to showcase its comprehensive portfolio of new and existing award-winning travel retail brands. See Stand N31.

Expected to be Ian Macleod's most successful show to date, TFWA Asia Pacific will provide a solid platform for the company to introduce a wide selection of exciting new products to the Travel Retail community.

Ultra premium Glengoyne Highland Single Malt 40 Years Old and Chieftain's Springbank 40 Years Old will both be on display for the first time, accompanied by many other premium expressions including Glengoyne Highland Single Malt 14 Years Old litre, Smokehead 18 Years Old Extra Black and King Robert II Deluxe litre.

Led by Andy Lane, Director of Travel Retail, Ian Macleod Distillers' ambitious five-year sales and marketing strategy continues to gain momentum, with over a dozen new International and UK Travel Retail listings confirmed in recent months.

New stockists for a number of key brands include the UK's leading travel retailer, WDF operating several UK Travel Retail outlets including Gatwick and Heathrow. As well as Inflight Sweden, whose many customers include Air Finland, Thomas Cook Airlines, Malmo Aviation and Novair.

Other stockists confirmed include: P&O Ferries; Frihofnin ehf, Iceland; Brittany Ferries, PAC, Beruit; Dufry, Switzerland, Oman Sales & Services, Muscat and Gebr – Heinemann, Germany.
